Tribute to Jim McBride

A film director mainly known in France for his feature fi lms (including “À Bout de Souffl e Made in USA” or “Great Balls Of Fire!”), Jim McBride began his career with a few gems of cinematographic invention that have (too) long remained invisible in France. They marked a generation of American filmmakers and, today, have lost none of their forcefulness, poetry and thus their pertinence.
