Film Workshops

In 1985, when TV sets were admitted into cells, the first fi lm and video workshops saw the light of day. The filmmaker Alain Moreau was a pioneer in this fi eld. With his students from the National School of Decorative Arts, he launched the fi rst prison TV channel “Télérencontres”. In 1990, in “Libération” newspaper, he called for the making of video-letters, as a way of corresponding and linking up with prisoners.
