Technical dissent, open praxis.
While the industry constrains us to use new tools unceasingly, to adopt new formats and to follow new standards, some artists place themselves in a “free hardware” regime, and practise technical disobedience. They side-step technological imperatives thanks to multiple solutions: by inventing their own tools, by returning to old methods, or by diverting the circuits and their logic.
